Several changes were made to the platform by Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram. After many of its high-profile users complained, Mosseri announced that the company will walk back some of the changes.
“I’m glad we took a risk,” Mosseri said in an interview with tech newsletter Platformer. “If we’re not failing every once in a while, we’re not thinking big enough or bold enough. But we definitely need to take a big step back and regroup.”
